Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an Executive Director of Pharmacy in Newport, Oregon for a 13-week assignment. This role leads pharmacy operations, ensures quality, and collaborates with medical teams to optimize patient drug therapy.

The candidate must have at least 2 years in pharmacy practice and leadership, hold a current Pharmacist license, and ideally possess an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency or equivalent leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in pharmacy practice and leadership.
• Current unencumbered state Pharmacist Licensure required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency (or equivalent) plus leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a system of management controls to ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality services by employees in Pharmacy Departments.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the functions, activities, and costs within the department.
• Prepares and dispenses medication and assesses the clinical status of the patients.
• Provides drug information to the medical team and educates patients.
