Job summary

Ram Mechanical Inc. seeks a Director of Construction to lead nationwide industrial projects, shaping standards and expanding capabilities. You will mentor senior leaders and influence business development while ensuring safe, profitable project delivery.

This role requires guiding multi-disciplinary teams across piping, fabrication, sheetmetal, and robotic integration, driving strategic growth and client satisfaction on high-stakes contracts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in industrial construction.
• Proven track record leading Project Managers and multidisciplinary projects.
• Deep technical expertise in piping, millwright, fabrication, or equipment installation.
• Demonstrated success in business development, customer relationships, and contract negotiation.
• Strong financial acumen for forecasting, margin optimization, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall industrial construction operations to ensure safe, profitable, and timely project delivery.
• Coach and mentor Project Managers and Construction Managers to build a high-performing leadership pipeline.
• Partner with executive teams to drive business development, proposal strategy, and high-value contract negotiations.
• Establish baseline project management standards, forecasting methods, and operational best practices.
• Oversee cross-functional coordination with engineering, fabrication, design, and controls divisions.
• Provide executive oversight on complex, high-risk, or high-volume industrial client pursuits.
