Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, direct, coordinate, report and budget the housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Supervise scheduling to ensure uninterrupted service to residents and facilities.
• Develop job descriptions and orientation checklists for housekeeping and laundry staff for administrator approval.
• Recruit, interview and verify references to staff needed.
• Maintain inventory of facility linen and supervise laundry operations.
• Ensure proper handling of isolation linen and clothing; oversee laundering and distribution of linen and clothing.
