The Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a qualified Housekeeping & Laundry Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. This full-time role focuses on overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience in healthcare settings, strong infection control knowledge, and excellent organizational skills to maintain high cleanliness

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping/environmental services in healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Housekeeping and Laundry.
• Supervise, train, and schedule staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop cleaning schedules and QA programs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean and well-maintained.
• Manage department budgets and expenses.
• Address resident/family concerns professionally.
• Participate in surveys and inspections.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment.
