Job summary

Modena Reserve Kensington is seeking a seasoned Director of Culinary Experience to lead a multi-venue culinary program in a boutique senior living community near Kensington, MD. Qualifications

• Culinary degree, certificate, or equivalent formal training.
• Significant experience leading a kitchen in quality-driven operations.
• Knowledge of quantity food production, nutrition, and therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary operations across five venues, balancing back-of-house and front-of-house responsibilities.
• Develop menus aligned with regulatory and resident preferences as the creative authority.
• Manage budgets, inventory, staffing, and vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost control.
• Oversee food safety, sanitation, and compliance with ServSafe and local regulations.
• Collaborate with executives to align dining services with resident care plans.
