Job summary

Gummi World seeks a Director of Operations to lead our Chandler, AZ manufacturing facility and align with the Gardena, CA site. This senior role blends production-floor presence with executive leadership, owning strategy, capability development, and profitability across a high‑volume nutraceutical operation.

The successful candidate will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, manage cross‑functional teams, and report to the CEO with strategic planning and resource allocation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a senior leadership role in nutraceutical/pharma/cosmetic/medical device
• Executive presence with the CEO and senior leadership
• Working knowledge of cGMPs and FDA regulations
• Strong leadership and communication to align teams
• Hands-on production floor as well as executive interactions
• P&L ownership or direct accountability for cost and profitability targets
• Technical degree and ability to read inventory-related documents and reports

Responsibilities

• Own operational strategy and translate it into measurable targets across a 60+ person facility
• Drive on-time delivery and quality targets; meet financial targets
• Implement Production Systems with lean mindset and continuous improvement
• Manage safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee schedules, inventory, purchasing, and production flow
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with the Gardena, CA site
• Travel periodically to Gardena, CA facility to align practices
• Develop leadership bench strength and succession planning
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff
• Monitor KPIs and drive cost productivity and profitability
