Job summary

Gummi World in Chandler, AZ seeks a Director of Operations to set strategy and drive execution across the Chandler and Gardena sites. This hands-on executive role reports to the CEO and owns P&L, safety, quality, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in senior leadership within nutraceutical/related industries, strong cGMP knowledge, and the ability to lead a 60+ person operation, build culture, and scale profitability.

Qualifications

• Executive presence with strategic thinking and credibility with CEO and board.
• Experience in nutraceutical/pharma/cosmetic or medical device industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of cGMPs and FDA regulations.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage P&L impact.
• Hands-on operator on the production floor with executive-level credibility.

Responsibilities

• Own operational strategy and drive execution across Chandler, AZ and Gardena, CA sites.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Oversee production systems, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives.
• Lead cost, productivity, and profitability targets with data-driven decisions.
• Develop leadership bench strength and succession planning.
• Collaborate with CEO and executives on capital, headcount, and expansion plans.
