Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston, TX, seeks a Director of Scheduling to lead all scheduling, ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup, and drive critical milestones safely and on time.

The role requires deep LNG project experience, advanced scheduling expertise, and leadership to implement AW&P, Workface Planning, and Short-Interval Planning within complex projects; reports to VP Planning & Scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience on major Oil & Gas projects using Primavera P6.
• Experience coordinating EPCs, pipelines, and CAPEX.
• Proficiency with Deltek Acumen Fuse, O3, and iConstruct.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an Integrated Master Schedule for CAPEX projects.
• Lead development of Level 1–5 schedules from inception through start-up.
• Develop and maintain scheduling processes and procedures.
• Develop and maintain earned value management processes.
• Lead planning and scheduling team.
• Set up reporting and dashboards for consistent communication.
• Communicate schedule information to management and stakeholders.
• Govern Primavera database administration.
• Implement Scheduling Policy and Standards.
• Travel to project locations as needed.
