Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Plaquemines, LA, is seeking a Planner to develop, maintain and communicate project schedules for Operations. The role may cover multiple facilities and initiatives in business studies or process development, reporting to the Operations team.

The Planner will lead scheduling efforts, ensure detailed, integrated plans, and drive KPI reporting while coordinating with operations personnel to address changes and deviations. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in LNG project engineering or construction industry.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Proven success in proactively improving processes and systems.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and with diverse groups.
• Organized planning skills; manage multiple activities with accuracy and deadlines.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
• MS Office Suite proficiency including Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning exercises and prepare/maintain project schedules for Operations.
• Apply appropriate level of planning to support project controls activities.
• Assist operations team in resolving cost, schedule, and change issues.
• Establish and maintain a standard reporting format for management reports.
• Review schedules for detail, structure, and progress monitoring.
• Ensure project schedules are integrated and resource-loaded for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with industry procedures and practices.
• Set up, implement and maintain schedule-related KPIs (KPIs).
• Obtain data on progress, logic, and manpower from operations/plant personnel.
• Conduct schedule review meetings and develop alternatives to changes and communicate deviations.
