Job summary

San Antonio Coalition for Life seeks a mission-driven Executive Director to lead the organization’s strategy, programs, operations, and community presence in Greater San Antonio. Reporting to the Board, this leader will mobilize staff, volunteers, donors, churches, and community partners to advance a culture of life throughout the region.

The Executive Director serves as SACFL’s chief staff leader and public representative.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated nonprofit leadership and program oversight.
• Experience in fundraising, donor relations, grants, and events.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic priorities with the Board and report on programs, finances, risks.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure programs and policies align with the mission and budget.
• Recruit, train, and support staff, contractors, and volunteers; maintain performance standards.
• Lead fundraising, donor stewardship, grants, campaigns, and sponsorships.
• Oversee events and community engagement initiatives, including church partnerships and public outreach.
• Manage relationships with partners and media; serve as a spokesperson as needed.
• Oversee marketing and communications; maintain website, email, and social media presence.
• Maintain sound financial controls, records, budgets, and donor acknowledgments.
• Track program activity and outcomes; evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
