Job summary

Rodey Law Firm seeks an Executive Director to serve as the senior business and administrative leader, overseeing finance, operations, HR, IT, and risk management across Albuquerque and Santa Fe offices. The ED reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with Directors of Billing, Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in financial/operational domains within professional services, plus strong communication and people management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA, CPA, or other advanced professional designation preferred.
• At least 10 years of financial and/or operational leadership experience.
• Experience managing financial operations in a professional services organization.
• Experience leading and developing administrative teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Salary DOE.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Firm's financial operations.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget and long-term financial plans.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to leadership.
• Oversee billing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable and general accounting.
• Establish and maintain financial controls and work with outside professionals.
• Oversee daily business and administrative operations, facilities, and IT.
• Support HR functions including recruiting, retention and compensation.
• Identify and monitor financial, operational and compliance risks.
• Lead and develop administrative teams; foster cross-department collaboration.
