Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is seeking an Executive Director to expand institutional West Coast relationships across public pensions, endowments, foundations, and healthcare systems. The role collaborates with Consultant Relations, Product Specialists, Marketing and Portfolio Management to deliver solutions.

You will lead fundraising efforts across equities, fixed income, private markets, and alternatives, mentor junior staff, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience developing new client relationships at an asset management platform.
• Experience with both public and private markets asset classes.
• Strong understanding of institutional sales processes and working with consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional asset owners across the West Coast.
• Cultivate partnerships with Consultant Relations, Product Specialists, Marketing and Portfolio Management.
• Maintain knowledge of investment strategies to position solutions to clients.
• Understand clients' objectives and provide tailored investment solutions.
• Mentor junior professionals and support talent development.
