Sagora Senior Living seeks an Executive Director for the Asher Point of Arlington community to lead operations and drive excellence in resident care and financial performance.

This role oversees all departments, partners with sales to fill beds, and directs budgeting and reporting to regional leadership. Strong leadership and healthcare hospitality experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of previous management experience in senior housing, hospitality, or related industries.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills for reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Willingness to drive and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations and departments within the community.
• Lead recruitment, training, discipline, and coaching of team members.
• Build relationships with residents and families.
• Report to Regional VP with expected metrics.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to achieve occupancy goals.
• Develop budgets and ensure departments operate within parameters.
• Hold regular meetings; on-call 24/7 for emergencies; weekends/holidays as needed.

Position Details

• Community name: Asher Point of Arlington
• City, State: 2315 Little Road
• Status: Full-Time
• Shift/hours: Monday - Friday 8a-5p with rotating weekends as Manager on Duty and on-call 24hrs

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations and departments within the community, including resident care, business office, sales, culinary, housekeeping, activities, and maintenance
• Oversee management of all team members, including recruiting, training, discipline, and coaching
• Build relationships with residents and families
• Report to the Regional VP with assigned reporting metrics
• Partner with the Sales and Marketing Director to achieve 100% occupancy
• Develop the budget and ensure all departments operate within the given parameters
• Hold regular meetings with staff, directors, residents, and resident families
• On-call 24 hours a day for emergency/crisis situations
• Must be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary

Skills/Requirements

• Three (3) or more years of previous management experience in the senior housing industry, hospitality, country club, or extended stay
• High School diploma or equivalent required, a college degree is preferred
• Advanced computer and Microsoft Office experience with the ability to create reports and analyze operational issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.
• A desire to work with senior adults
• Strong leadership skills and experience leading large teams with multiple departments
• Experience overseeing the financial success of multiple departments
• Ability to solve complex operational and people problems
• Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid driver's license to drive on company time as needed
