Job summary

Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG) in Dallas invites high-potential leaders to join the Executive Director in Training (EDIT) program. This leadership track prepares you to oversee a senior living community, manage operations, and drive financial performance.

You will work closely with seasoned directors, gain hands-on experience in operations, budgeting, occupancy strategy, and regulatory compliance, and advance toward an Executive Director role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or operations.
• Strong business acumen with interest in financial and operational leadership.

At Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG), our Executive Director in Training (EDIT) Program is designed for high-potential leaders who are ready to take the next step into executive-level operations within senior living.

This is not an entry-level role. This is a leadership track built to prepare you to oversee a senior living community, managing operations, leading teams, driving financial performance, and delivering exceptional resident experiences.

What You’re Stepping Into

As an Executive Director, you will ultimately be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team
• Owning the financial performance (P&L) of the community
• Driving occupancy, revenue, and operational efficiency
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards
• Creating an exceptional resident and family experience
• Building a strong, accountable, and positive team culture

The EDIT program is your pathway to mastering these responsibilities with the support and mentorship to succeed.

What You’ll Do During Training

You will work closely with experienced Executive Directors and regional leadership to gain hands-on experience in:

• Community operations & leadership decision-making
• Financial management, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Sales, marketing, and occupancy strategy
• Team leadership, hiring, coaching, and retention
• Regulatory compliance and risk management
• Resident satisfaction and service excellence

This is a hands-on, immersive experience; you’ll be actively involved in running the business, not observing from the sidelines.

Who This Role Is For

We’re looking for leaders who are ready to grow into executive responsibility:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred)
• 3+ years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, property management, or operations
• Experience managing teams and driving performance
• Strong business acumen with an interest in financial and operational leadership
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for delivering exceptional service and improving lives
