Job summary

FOX Entertainment seeks an Executive Director, Business & Legal Affairs to lead a broad range of strategic dealmaking and legal matters across creator partnerships, production, and emerging technology initiatives.

This role will serve as a senior legal and business advisor, partnering closely with business and legal affairs leadership to structure, negotiate, and execute complex agreements in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active California Bar membership.
• 10+ years of in-house entertainment, media, technology, or related transactional experience.
• Experience independently negotiating and drafting complex production, talent, creator, licensing, content, and/or technology agreements.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and influence strategic decisions with practical legal counsel.
• Strong understanding of entertainment rights, production and evolving digital media models.

Responsibilities

• Support negotiation, drafting and execution of complex creator, production, talent, licensing, content and technology deals.
• Advise internal stakeholders on deal structure, risk and business strategy.
• Partner cross-functionally to structure partnerships and strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance on AI-related initiatives, tools, and evolving rights issues.
• Develop scalable contract templates, playbooks and best practices.
