Job summary

FOX Entertainment is seeking an Executive Director, Business & Legal Affairs to lead high-stakes dealmaking and legal matters across creator partnerships, production, and emerging technology initiatives. The role requires top-tier in-house entertainment experience, strong negotiation and advisory skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of complex issues.

The on-site weekly attendance is required, with a pay range of $179,000–$250,000 annually and eligible bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active California Bar membership.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience in-house in entertainment/tech.
• Significant experience independently negotiating and drafting complex production, talent, creator, licensing, content, and/or technology agreements.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and execute complex deals across creator, production, talent, licensing, content, and technology.
• Advise internal stakeholders with practical counsel on deal structure, business strategy, contractual terms, and risk.
• Partner cross-functionally with production, ad sales, technology, finance, business development, and other teams.
• Advise on legal, business, and policy considerations arising from emerging technologies, including AI-related initiatives and rights.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates, playbooks, and best practices for the department.
• Contribute to policy, guidelines, and governance frameworks as business models evolve.
• Navigate ambiguity and manage multiple high-priority projects.
