Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Executive Director who reports to the Vice President of Ambulatory Operations and collaborates with the Senior Medical Director to provide strategic and administrative leadership for physicians, directors, managers, and staff within the defined service line.

The role drives clinical integration, financial performance, growth, and quality through cost-effective member care and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant clinical and healthcare management experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience working with a large physician group practice and multi-faceted health care setting

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute service line strategies and workplans
• Lead design and management of designated services to achieve breakthrough performance
• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction across accountable areas
• Ensure compliance with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Manage budgets, resources, and expenditures for the service line
• Lead performance improvement, KPI reporting, and regional initiatives
• Develop market strategies and growth partnerships with key stakeholders
• Represent the organization in community relations and partnerships
