Job summary

The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center (CHCAC) in Towanda, PA, seeks a mission-driven Executive Director to lead programs, staff, and finances. Reporting to the Board, you will guide strategic direction, fundraising, and community partnerships to sustain trauma-informed services for children and families.

You will oversee operations, ensure compliance, and advocate for excellence in child advocacy. Hybrid work in Towanda, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary partners.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute across the area and state.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational leadership and strategic direction with the Board of Directors.
• Lead, supervise, and develop CHCAC staff.
• Oversee operations, policies, programs, accreditation, and compliance.
• Develop and manage annual budget with strong fiscal controls.
• Drive grant development, administration, compliance, and reporting.
• Lead fundraising and donor relations with staff and the Board.
• Build relationships with law enforcement, child protection, healthcare providers, schools, and DA’s Office.
• Support MDT partnerships and community outreach.
• Represent CHCAC publicly and ensure accreditation readiness.
