Job summary

Horizon Health Foundation seeks an Executive Director to lead its fundraising program and deepen donor relationships within Illinois. The role reports to the Horizon Health leadership and works closely with the Foundation Board to advance strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in annual giving, major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, grants, events, and planned giving.
• Experience leading fundraising programs and campaigns for a healthcare-related nonprofit is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building with donors, volunteers, physicians, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Foundation’s fundraising program and strategy.
• Strengthen donor and community relationships to grow philanthropic support.
• Align fundraising with Horizon Health’s strategic goals and capital priorities.
• Collaborate with hospital and Foundation leadership to maximize impact.
