Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) seeks an Executive Director, Software Engineering to lead strategy, delivery, modernization, and operational performance of technology platforms for the Institutional Trade Processing business.

You will oversee globally distributed teams delivering client connectivity, cloud adoption, and shared services while driving resilience, security, and engineering excellence across DTCC’s critical production systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including executive responsibility.
• Experience operating mission-critical platforms in regulated/high-availability environments.
• Success leading large-scale modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, software engineering, resilience, and security.
• Experience managing portfolios, budgets, vendors, and global teams.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Ensure secure, resilient, and highly available production services.
• Lead modernization initiatives with operational stability.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Operations and Business leaders.
• Drive engineering standards, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee budgets, workforce planning, vendor management and reporting.
• Build leadership depth and accountability across global teams.
