Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Global Procurement – Commercial Category Strategy, based in Foster City, CA.

You will shape worldwide procurement strategy for critical commercial categories, lead a global team, and drive value through supplier partnerships, innovation, and risk management. You will partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure governance and impact, including sustainability and responsible sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive relevant experience in procurement leadership.
• Experience leading global procurement organizations in biotech/pharma/healthcare or similarly complex industries.
• Deep expertise in Commercial Procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationships.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute a long-term global Commercial Procurement strategy.
• Lead enterprise value creation and transformation initiatives.
• Develop executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers and partners.
• Build and lead a high-performing global procurement organization.
