Job summary

DRiV, a premier House of Brands in the automotive aftermarket, seeks an accomplished M&A Executive Director to lead acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, integrations, and separations across the enterprise.

The role partners with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Tax, Legal, HR, IT and external advisors to vet opportunities, perform due diligence, assess fit and risk, and translate findings into executable transaction plans for executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, strategy, or related fields.
• Leadership of complex global transactions with rigorous vetting and due diligence.
• Experience executing divestitures, carve-outs, and separations.
• Strong valuation, negotiation, governance, and integration skills.
• Ability to present clear go/no-go recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience in a global, manufacturing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full M&A lifecycle for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, integrations, and separations, from initial opportunity assessment through close and post-close execution.
• Proactively identify, screen, and prioritize targets based on strategic fit, market position, growth potential, and risk.
• Establish a disciplined opportunity-vetting process across strategic fit, market attractiveness, and execution risk.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence across commercial, operational, financial, legal, tax, HR, IT, and other areas; synthesize findings and recommend mitigations.
• Direct divestiture strategy and execution, including perimeter definition, carve-outs, data-room coordination, and Day 1 readiness.
• Partner with leaders to build transaction theses and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.
