Job summary

Spyre Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Director, Clinical Operations to provide strategic leadership and hands‑on oversight of global clinical trials. You will translate development objectives into operational plans, lead start‑up through closeout, and ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

You will partner with Clinical Development, manage CRO/vendor relationships, and mentor Clinical Operations staff while maintaining regulatory and inspection readiness in a fast‑growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of global clinical research experience.
• Late‑stage dermatology trial experience preferred.
• Experience leading CROs and other clinical service providers.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global clinical operational strategies and trial plans from feasibility to closeout.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, resources, metrics, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with Clinical Development to input operational considerations to trial documents.
• Lead CRO/vendor selection, contracting, governance, and performance oversight.
• Maintain inspection readiness and support regulatory audits and inspections.
• Develop SOPs and train Clinical Operations personnel.
• Provide clear updates to senior leadership on study progress and risks.
