Job summary

The Lilabean Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research seeks an Executive Director to guide growth, oversee operations and collaborate with the Founder & President on donor engagement, events, and strategy.

The ED will lead financial management, marketing, and administration, while partnering with the Founder to advance outreach, fundraising campaigns, and long-term planning in support of pediatric brain cancer research.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing day-to-day operations and staff in a nonprofit.
• Experience in fundraising, marketing and donor relations with a track record of major gifts.
• Ability to plan and execute donor engagement plans and multi-year strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting with Founder & President, and tax/audit prep.
• Manage Director of Marketing & Operations and administrative support.
• Plan and execute high-level donor events and fundraising grants process.
• Lead fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, and major gift opportunities pipeline.
• Represent LBF in the pediatric brain cancer community to donors and media.
• Design and execute annual and long-term strategic plans.
