No Stomach For Cancer, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization, drive fundraising, and manage programs and operations from the Madison, WI area.

The role reports to the Board and holds responsibility for strategic planning, budgeting, and compliance across the nonprofit’s activities. The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of senior nonprofit leadership, strong donor engagement, financial oversight, and a passion for advancing cancer research and patient support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social work, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years senior leadership, management, marketing and/or fundraising in nonprofit settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven success in small-budget fundraising and clear public speaking.
• Experience in donor cultivation, grant writing, and strategic fundraising is essential.
• Passion for finding a cure for cancer; exposure to cancer research/preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures for compliant, mission-aligned operations.
• Oversee daily NSFC operations, banking, database management, and audit support.
• Lead programs, grant review, reporting, and contracting with recipients and partners.
• Assist in budget prep and financial statements to the Board.
• Collaborate with Board on strategic planning and sustainability.
• Oversee compliance with federal and state laws.
