Job summary

The Clean Power Institute (CPI) is seeking an entrepreneurial and highly collaborative Executive Director to lead CPI’s day-to-day operations and develop the strategies, programs, partnerships and resources needed to expand its national impact. This hands-on leadership role will directly build and execute initiatives while guiding CPI’s growth with the ACP connection.

Reporting to the ACP/President of CPI, you will lead a national workforce strategy, scale programs such as the Clean Energy

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit, education, government, or related field.
• Experience in clean energy, workforce development, philanthropy, or economic development preferred.
• Proven fundraising, budgeting and resource development capabilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPI’s day-to-day operations and strategic growth with the CPI Board and ACP leadership.
• Develop programs, partnerships, and resources to scale national impact.
• Build education-to-career pathways connecting schools, colleges, apprenticeships, and employers.
• Fundraise and steward relationships with foundations, corporations, and philanthropists.
• Represent CPI as a national ambassador to industry leaders, policymakers, and educators.
