The Batten Group is seeking an Executive Director for NXT | CLT, a Charlotte-based nonprofit focused on empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening the regional ecosystem. The role requires balancing mission with financial discipline and external leadership as the organization grows.

The Executive Director will fundraise, build partnerships, and lead program improvements while reporting to the Board and ensuring sustainable impact for BIPOC-owned ventures in Charlotte.

Formación

• Five+ years of progressive leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
• Proven success leading an organization, business unit, or entrepreneurial enterprise.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
• Experience developing financial resources through fundraising, partnerships, grants, or revenue.
• Excellent relationship-building with entrepreneurs, donors, and community leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for NXT | CLT’s mission and programs.
• Drive fundraising strategy and revenue growth with the Board.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and grant partners.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Build partnerships to expand resources and impact.
• Lead staff and maintain a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
