Job summary

Braven, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director for North Carolina to launch and lead a new NC region, partnering with higher education institutions and employers to advance Fellows’ outcomes.

This temporary, full-time role will oversee fundraising, external affairs, and regional strategy, ultimately guiding Braven’s presence in the NC education and workforce landscape. The ED will build a regional team, collaborate with the External Affairs Director and central team, and report to senior Braven

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 7–10 years of leadership experience
• Proven track record leading a department or equivalent, delivering outcomes while building an inclusive, sustainable team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional strategy and operations for NC region, including partner outreach and program expansion
• Oversee fundraising and external affairs to raise significant funding and thought leadership in the region
• Build and lead a regional program team and advisory board, coordinate with central External Affairs
• Manage and develop regional leadership, align with Braven’s Alignment Team and Founder/CEO
• Represent Braven as a regional thought leader in higher education and workforce development
