Job summary

MarinHealth seeks an Executive Director, Financial Planning to provide enterprise-level financial leadership, translating data and priorities into actionable insights for MarinHealth Medical Center and affiliate entities. You will lead budgeting, long-range planning, and capital planning, collaborating with executive teams to drive performance and stewardship.

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee proforma development, revenue monitoring, and external reporting, while guiding the enterprise

Qualifications

• Five years healthcare experience in data analysis with emphasis on revenue cycle, budgeting and financial planning.
• Experience in general ledger, budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, cost accounting and reimbursement in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of government and non-government billing and government payer concepts.
• Advanced skills in developing proformas and financial models to support business plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual operating budget for MarinHealth Medical Center and affiliates.
• Plan long-range financial planning and capital planning with leadership.
• Lead the Budget, Decision Support, and Business Intelligence teams.
• Provide timely, accurate insights to support decision-making and performance improvements.
