Job summary

Fellowship Housing Opportunities, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization’s mission, align strategy with operations, and ensure long-term sustainability.

You will oversee all programs, manage staff, and represent FHO in the community. The role requires 7+ years of nonprofit leadership, with at least 5 years in senior management, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Significant leadership experience in nonprofit/human services with 7+ years of progressive responsibility; at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• One year of experience working in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Organizational Vision: establish priorities with the Board, translate strategy into actionable plans, monitor external trends, drive data-informed decisions, ensure mission alignment and sustainability.
• Operational Leadership & Consistency: oversee program administration, ensure efficiency and quality, integrate best practices, report metrics, ensure compliance and risk management.
• People Leadership & Organizational Health: lead a mission-driven team, foster growth and retention, promote a collaborative environment, strengthen leadership across the org, champion ethics and transparency.
• Board Partnership & Governance: maintain transparent relationship with the Board, report performance and risks, support governance and policy execution.
• Community Engagement & Representation: represent FHO in the community, build stakeholder relationships, advocate for clients at multiple levels.
