Job summary

City of Hope seeks an Executive Director, Decision Support and Analytics to lead enterprise analytics and the budgeting/planning function. You will unite clinical, research, philanthropy and finance leaders to raise decision quality and financial planning capabilities across the national system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field.
• 10+ years of decision support or analytical experience, including 7+ years in management.
• 5+ years healthcare experience; healthcare management preferred.
• GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in decision analytics and strategic decision support.
• Advanced skills in planning/analysis tools, Excel, BI tools and stochastic modeling.
• Strong strategic thinking and communication, plus relationship-building.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and interact with senior executives.
• MBA or master's degree preferred, with analytics/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Frame and analyze complex business, operational and financial questions.
• Develop practical tools and quantitative insights for decisions.
• Partner with finance and operations on budgeting and planning.
• Lead implementation and rollout of enterprise planning module.
• Build system-wide capabilities in reporting, BI, dashboards, cost accounting.
• Collaborate on data governance, data marts, data warehouses, reports.
• Lead experts and consultants to deliver defined requirements.
• Translate strategic issues into clear insights for executives.
• Build and retain a high-performing analytical team.
