Job summary

Redstone Technologies is seeking an Executive Director for its Engineering Services Division (ESD). The role will oversee independent P&L, billing, quality management and customer satisfaction, with hands-on leadership to reverse a non-profitable unit.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred), with at least 5 years in a leadership role and experience turning around defense-related small to mid-sized businesses. Eligibility for US Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Masters degree preferred in business, engineering, or STEM.
• 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience leading change in small to mid-sized organizations.
• PMP or equivalent management credential preferred.
• Ability to obtain US Secret clearance.
• Experience in defense contracting and profit/loss leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee independent P&L, billing, and quality management for the division.
• Turn around an unprofitable business unit with hands-on leadership.
• Set goals, milestones, and drive implementation.
• Lead production, prototyping, engineering and reverse engineering efforts for aerospace modifications.
• Develop and mentor teams; minimize drama.
