Job summary

The Wayne Theatre Alliance, Inc. (WTA) seeks an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer for both WTA and the Wayne Theatre Alliance Foundation (WTAF). This leader will advance the theatre’s mission, guide daily operations, and serve as spokesperson to the community, donors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in fundraising and donor relations is highly valued.
• Demonstrated leadership in nonprofit or arts organizations.
• Experience in programming, education, and community outreach is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and external relations for the organization, including fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Oversee facilities management, safety reviews, and renovation planning.
• Coordinate with governance to develop budgets and report on financial performance.
• Guide endowment management and real estate considerations for the foundation.
• Represent the theater and foundation to community partners and supporters.
