Job summary

The University of Virginia Darden School of Business seeks a strategic Managing Director of Professional Degree Career Development to lead its career development portfolio for EMBA, PTMBA, and MSBA programs. Based at UVA Darden's Sands Family Grounds in Rosslyn, Virginia, this role reports to the Sr.

Assistant Dean and partners across admissions, marketing, and employer relations to shape a unified student experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with 6+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong preference for 10+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years in formal leadership.
• Experience in executive coaching, talent development, or higher education administration is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across EMBA, PTMBA, and MSBA career development initiatives.
• Develop and execute programs that improve career outcomes and student success.
• Lead employer and alumni engagement and partnerships in the DC metropolitan area and beyond.
• Drive data-informed decision making using the 12twenty platform and related analytics.
• Develop and manage a high-performing team and foster a coaching culture.
