The University of Virginia Darden School of Business seeks a strategic and collaborative Senior Director, Coaching and Career Education to join its career team in Charlottesville, VA. This role leads MBA career education, one-on-one coaching, and employer engagement across consulting, finance, tech, and more.

The Senior Director will own a portfolio of sector knowledge, shape the education curriculum, and partner with alumni, faculty, and recruiters to deliver high-quality student experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required; MBA strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strategic relationships with executives, alumni, and employers.
• Experience translating data/analytics into program decisions and outcomes.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and career education initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for workshops, presentations and stakeholder briefs.

Responsibilities

• Advise MBA students and alumni through coaching, workshops, and resources.
• Develop and maintain the career education calendar and programming.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality student experiences.
• Monitor program outcomes and use data to drive improvements.
• Strengthen employer relationships and expand opportunities for student recruitment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align career education with school goals.
