Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City seeks an Executive Director for Portfolio & Execution within Employee Platforms Engineering & Architecture. You will own the integrated E&A portfolio, translate strategy into roadmaps, and drive disciplined planning, metrics, and executive reporting.

You will partner with the Head of E&A and senior leaders to organize strategy into programs, oversee governance, and manage risks, benefits realization, and delivery cadence across E&A initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of portfolio/program leadership in a large tech organization.
• Ability to design and run outcome-based governance with OKRs and KPIs.
• Metrics-driven management with defined outcomes and instrumentation.
• Fluency in modern engineering delivery practices and enterprise architecture concepts.
• DORA literacy and ability to operationalize metrics.
• Strong executive communication and reporting skills.
• Influence without direct authority in a matrixed org.
• Basic AI skills and awareness for responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated E&A portfolio with roadmaps, priorities, milestones, dependencies, benefits, and risks.
• Run the E&A operating cadence with reviews, risk management, escalations, and governance.
• Produce executive-ready reporting and maintain a single source of truth.
• Standardize strategies into executable programs with clear outcomes and governance checkpoints.
• Partner to define outcomes, metrics, and progress reporting without owning daily execution.
• Foster Communities of Practice and measure adoption, engagement, reuse, and quality.
• Drive architecture direction and governance with transparency and measured adoption.
• Identify overlaps, rationalize, track reuse, and report realized benefits.
• Lead AI-enabled ways of working and plan responsible AI adoption with risk stakeholders.
• Manage firmwide initiatives affecting Employee Platforms Engineering and Architecture.
