JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Distressed Desk Analyst within the North America Credit Trading franchise. You will work directly with distressed traders and the broader team to identify compelling trade opportunities and engage with clients.

The role emphasizes risk management, valuation and cash flow modeling, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced market. A strong team player with self-starting drive and mature presentation skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience investing in credit markets, preferably distressed credit & restructurings.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, able to work independently and within a team.
• Valuation and credit analysis experience, including cash flow modeling skills.
• Mature personality with confident client presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with distressed traders and the Distressed Desk Analyst team.
• Identify compelling trade opportunities.
• Engage with the desk’s clients.
• Manage risk in partnership with the trading desk.
