Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York seeks a candidate for the North America Credit Trading distressed desk. You will work directly with distressed traders and the Distressed Desk Analyst team to identify compelling trade opportunities and engage with clients. You will help manage risk in partnership with the trading desk.

Ideal candidates have experience in credit markets, strong valuation and cash flow modeling skills, and a mature, client-facing demeanor suited to high-pressure deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience investing in credit markets, preferably distressed credit and restructurings.
• Strong work ethic; self-starter able to work independently and in a team.
• Valuation and credit analysis experience, including cash flow modeling.
• Mature personality for direct client interaction and confident presentations.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
