Job summary

The Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum in Red Hook, NY seeks an Executive Director with a strong development background to lead the nonprofit and grow revenues. The Director reports to the Board of Trustees and oversees administration, ticket revenues & donations, marketing & communications, financial oversight, and air show operations.

This is a full-time role with focus around the mid-June to mid-October air show season.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in revenue growth.
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in marketing & communications.
• Exceptional organizational ability.
• General computer skills.
• Understanding of the use of websites and social media.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation with emphasis on development and growth.
• Admin, ticket revenues & donations, marketing & communications, financial oversight.
• Operations of Air Shows and Events, HR and facilities.
• Coordinate maintaining the Collection and work with Board committees.
• Develop and present programming to advance the Aerodrome mission.
• Run-up to, and actual air show season from mid-June to mid-October.
