Louisiana Community and Technical College System is seeking an Executive Director of Cybersecurity to lead governance, risk, and compliance across the system and its colleges. The role focuses on strategic vision, operational excellence, and building a robust, enterprise-wide security program.

The position requires transforming security operations, guiding teams, and collaborating with senior leadership to balance security with institutional priorities while ensuring compliance with applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent complex projects, including planning and resource coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and cybersecurity program.
• Lead security strategy aligned with enterprise risk management and digital transformation.
• Develop and mentor cybersecurity teams, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish policies, standards, and controls for governance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee incident response and service delivery, ensuring timely risk mitigation.
• Maintain status reporting and stakeholder communication across the organization.
