Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Director of Culinary Services to lead the Dietary Department in our Illinois facility. You will oversee kitchen operations, plan menus, manage inventory, and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise dietary staff, coordinate with nursing and activities teams, and implement dining services that respect residents' needs. Strong leadership, communication, and compliance with state guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional education in culinary arts preferred.
• Three years of dietary managerial experience in a health care setting preferred.
• One year of experience as Dietary Aide/Technician/R.D. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Dietary Department ensuring quality meal service and compliance with nutritional guidelines.
• Manage kitchen operations, menu planning, inventory control, and food safety standards.
• Lead staffing, supervise and train dietary personnel, and coordinate with other departments to meet residents' needs.
