Job summary

Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation in Enumclaw, WA is seeking an Executive Director who will steward the mission, lead a small team and hundreds of volunteers, and partner with the Board to guide the organization into its next chapter.

The role requires a track record in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, financial stewardship, and community partnerships. Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, with full-time hours including in-office, remote and event duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Non-profit Administration, Communications or related field.
• 10+ years in human services field with increasing level of responsibility.
• 5+ years staff supervision.
• 5+ years budget development and monitoring.
• 5+ years in multi-channel communication.
• Proficiency with the following tools: Office, Google Suite, graphic design tools, CRM/donor management, Quickbooks; grant writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Steward Vision & Strategy—Guide long-range strategic planning that honors roots while evolving needs.
• Cultivate Resources—Lead fundraising and development for sustainable support.
• Champion the Programs—Oversee and strengthen program operations addressing hunger, healthcare access, mental health, and student support.
• Lead & Empower People—Invest in staff and volunteers, recognizing volunteers as the heartbeat of the organization.
• Tell the Story—Guide communications and marketing reflecting the Foundation’s voice.
• Ensure Sound Stewardship—Oversee compliance, HR and administration with integrity and care.
