Job summary

Steel River Playhouse, a nonprofit theatre in Pottstown, seeks an Executive Director to lead the theater's business, fundraising and community engagement. You will partner with the Board and Development Director to grow contributed revenue, nurture donors and strengthen marketing and educational initiatives.

The ideal candidate has arts administration experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to build relationships with staff, volunteers and audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, non-profit management, business or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in arts or non-profit.
• Proven success in fundraising, budget tracking and revenue generation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business, financial and administrative operations of the theater.
• Create and manage the annual operating budget in partnership with the Board.
• Oversee fundraising, donor relations, grant writing and marketing strategies.
• Supervise administrative, box office and front-of-house staff.
• Coordinate facility operations and maintain community and artist relations.
