Job summary

Victor Community Support Services (VCSS) seeks an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations and strategic direction for its California sites. You will oversee organizational structure, finances, and regulatory compliance while guiding program development and community partnerships.

Qualified candidates hold a masters or PhD in Social Work or Psychology, with several years in a supervisory role, and a valid CA driver’s license. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Four years’ post-graduate degree management/supervisory experience.
• Valid California driver’s license and insurance.
• Willing to undergo TB test and drug screening.
• Background investigation by the State of California.
• First Aid Certification; CPR certification per county requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and overviews organizational structure and systems to ensure service delivery with excellence and safety.
• Oversees budget development and monitoring to maximize contracts and meet fiscal mandates.
• Ensures employment-related activities comply with agency, state, and federal standards, including personnel management.
• Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with local partners and conducts business development as appropriate.
• Provides risk management to ensure safety for employees, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and county regulations and drives continuous quality improvement.
