Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. is seeking an experienced senior leader to guide operations and strengthen community services. The role oversees an annual budget of $10-12M, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives strategic initiatives with the Board.

Candidates should bring executive nonprofit experience, a strong track record in governance and funding, and a commitment to poverty reduction and community-based services. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, human services, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and executive experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with poverty reduction, community-based services, and the CSBG network strongly preferred.
• Candidates with comparable nonprofit or public-service leadership experience may be considered.
• Certified Community Action Professional certification or willingness to pursue certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a budget of $10-12M and ensure effective operations, sound management and accountability.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, financial accountability and risk management.
• Ensure the agency meets CSBG Organizational Standards.
• Lead capital-spending initiatives and planning; primary liaison to the Board of Directors.
• Provide leadership direction and supervision to program directors and leaders.
• Build trust with staff, the Board of Directors, funders, and community partners.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop creative, practical solutions to address needs.
• Set and evaluate goals, measure outcomes and progress towards the agency’s mission.
