## Executive Director, Commercial AnalyticsApply: Boston, MA: Full time: Posted Today: REQ-30244**Job Description****General Summary**The Executive Director, Commercial Analytics leads the Commercial Analytics Center of Excellence within US Commercial, providing enterprise-level oversight across forecasting, performance and strategic analytics, sub-national and field analytics, omnichannel and media analytics, and market research across North America, Global, and Early Pipeline.This role is a senior strategic partner to Commercial leadership and is accountable for elevating analytics from a tactical service into a core commercial capability that enables executive decision-making, launch excellence, and optimized investment.**Key Duties and Responsibilities*** Lead the Commercial Analytics (CA) COE, overseeing ~20-25 FTEs organized by disease area (DA) verticals.* Define enterprise analytics vision, operating model, governance, and prioritization to maximize business impact.* Establish analytics and forecasting excellence, including best practices, vendor strategy, and innovation.* Provide executive oversight of short- and mid-range (LE) forecasting and participation in Long Range Planning (LRP).* Enable scenario planning and revenue impact analysis in partnership with Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial Strategy.* Own national and sub-national analytics, KPI frameworks, and variance analysis versus forecast.* Support go-to-market decision-making including field force sizing, market evaluation, and launch readiness.* Lead all North America market research and all Global and Early Pipeline market research for inline and pipeline disease areas.* Establish marketing science excellence, including best practices, vendor strategy, and innovation.* Oversee omnichannel, media, and field analytics to optimize marketing mix, targeting, and customer engagement.* Enable field leadership through actionable insights, reporting, and performance metrics.* Lead senior DA Leaders as single points of accountability, embedded within BULTs.* Balance people leadership with hands-on strategic analytics and decision support.* Serve as a trusted advisor to EC-level stakeholders and cross-functional partners across Commercial, Medical, HEOR, Market Access, Finance, and Supply Chain.* Build and scale a high-performing analytics organization, including Senior Director–level leaders.* Manage a growing operating budget (>$10M growth) with a focus on efficiency and impact.**Knowledge and Skills*** Enterprise, strategic mindset with strong executive presence.* Ability to lead through complexity and organizational change.* Values-driven leader focused on accountability and continuous improvement.**Education and Experience*** Advanced degree in a quantitative, scientific, or business discipline.* Deep experience in commercial forecasting, analytics, and market research in biotech/pharma or similar industries.* Proven success leading large, multi-disciplinary analytics organizations and influencing executive leaders.* Experience supporting global and pipeline portfolios.* Prior experience operating within or alongside business unit leadership teams.* Exposure to advanced analytics, digital, and AI-enabled decision support. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
