Job summary

DTCC's Executive Director, Software Engineering will lead strategy, delivery, modernization, and operational performance of technology platforms supporting DTCC's Fixed Income business. This role oversees globally distributed teams responsible for modernization and cloud migration of FICC platforms and services.

The position combines responsibility for mission-critical production services with a transformational agenda focused on cloud adoption, platform modernization, resilience, and security.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience in large organizations.
• Experience operating mission-critical platforms in regulated/high-availability environments.
• Proven success leading modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, software engineering, systems integration, resilience, performance, and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the FICC cloud migration strategy, roadmap, delivery plan, and outcomes across the portfolio.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Operations, and Business leaders to deliver outcomes.
• Drive engineering standards, scalability, performance, resilience, and operational excellence.
• Oversee budgets, workforce planning, vendor management, technology risk, and executive reporting.
