Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking a Director of Clinical Case Management to lead policy development and ensure adherence to hospital objectives. The role directs the team in implementing procedures, budgeting, staffing, and performance improvement initiatives to support safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Ten years as an RN or SW; five years as a case manager; three years in mid-management.
• Current Louisiana RN license or Social Work license, or multi-state license.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook; Sequel knowledge a plus.
• Familiarity with CMS Standards for Utilization Management and Utilization Review.

Responsibilities

• Ensures staff compliance with mandatory education, licensure, and health requirements.
• Develops annual departmental budget and operates within guidelines.
• Allocates resources and staffing according to priorities.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions.
