Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director to join its Climate Advisory team within the investment banking division.

You will translate climate science into decision-grade guidance for executives, partnering with a cross-functional group to deliver advisory services across client lifecycles. You will develop flagship thought leadership, manage scientific diligence, and tailor outputs to diverse client types, from startups to multinational corporations and institutional investors,

Qualifications

• PhD in climate science or closely related field.
• Experience translating climate science into real-world applications outside academia.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills for executive audiences.
• Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver climate advisory engagements translating climate science into actionable guidance for clients.
• Co-develop flagship thought leadership and expand advisory outputs (briefs, memos, board materials).
• Advise across company stages and investor types.
• Develop decision-ready frameworks including scenario thinking and uncertainty communication.
• Oversee scientific diligence and ensure credible client-facing outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to tie climate risks to financial implications.
• Create reusable advisory assets and tools for scalability.
• Engage senior stakeholders and translate questions into analysis.
