Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director to join Climate Advisory. You will translate climate science into decision-grade guidance for clients across lifecycle stages, spanning early-stage ventures to large corporates and institutional investors.

You will work with the Global Head of Climate Advisory, develop thought leadership, and deliver practical insights with executive audiences while integrating science with business and financial impact.

Qualifications

• PhD in climate science, atmospheric science, earth system science, or closely related field.
• Experience translating technical climate and physical science into real-world applications outside academia.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce executive-level narratives.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
• High judgement and integrity with commitment to scientific accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Global Head of Climate Advisory to deliver climate advisory engagements for corporates and investors.
• Translate physical climate science into actionable guidance aligned to client needs and context.
• Contribute to flagship thought leadership and expansion of outputs.
• Advise across company stages and investor types.
• Distill complex climate research into decision-ready frameworks and roadmaps.
• Conduct scientific diligence and maintain credibility for boards and investors.
• Integrate climate science with business and financial context across regions.
• Develop reusable advisory assets and tools for scale.
• Engage senior stakeholders and capture client questions into analyses.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs to align outputs with firm standards and needs.
